I began my dream to start playing the piano in 2008 by having weekly lessons at Brooklyn Melodies. There were also seasonal concerts in which we were required to perform, in places such as Dubai Mall, and even though they were nerve-wrecking, having done so many has improved my confidence level in being able to play the piano in front of a live audience. I was even pushed out of comfort zone by having to participate in competitions, and I have to admit that there were many times in which I didn’t feel I could do it, however I received an immense amount of support and motivation from my teachers and the staff there. The competition ended up being a sublime experience for me, being able to perform to and amongst great musicians. I would love to thank the staff in Brooklyn Melodies for making my journey of playing piano a pleasant and enjoyable one.

2nd Prize for Piano Solo & Special Prize for Best Performance of German Composer in the “1st Emirates Music Talent Festival Piano Competition – Abu Dhabi 2013” (Category 2B / 13 years old)
